Upon delivery of the goods, the customer must verify the integrity of the packages and the quantitative and qualitative correspondence with what is indicated in the accompanying document. In case of discrepancy, the same must be reported and confirmed, within seven days, by fax or registered A / R sent to Cicli Tartaggia to the sales representative. Even if the packaging is intact, the goods must be checked within seven days of receipt of the same. Any hidden anomalies must be reported in writing by fax or registered A / R to Cicli Tartaggia. Any report received after the aforementioned deadlines will not be taken into consideration. For each declaration, the customer assumes full responsibility for what is declared.


The customer who places an order via the Internet will receive, at the end of the purchase procedure, a confirmation communication by e-mail (e-mail), indicating the relative order number. In the hypothesis that, after sending the order, the order number does not appear (after a few minutes), the proposal will be considered as not accepted, for all legal purposes, even if for accounting, administrative or shortage of product.


Prices are inclusive of VAT for shipments to Italy and CEE countries. The prices for direct shipments to customers residing outside the European Community (non-EU) are to be understood net of VAT and customs duties. Local VAT and any customs duties will be charged to the recipient and will be requested by the shipper during the delivery of the goods. Prices can be changed at any time, without notice.


Payment methods accepted online are the following:

  • VISA credit card or MASTER CARD
  • Pay Pal
  • Bank transfer (preferred method)

In case of payment by credit card, the customer will have to pay a commission equal to 1% for purchases in the EU territory and a commission equal to 2% for purchases with cards coming from outside the EU.The bank transfer is the most convenient form of payment in as it has no commissions.

For payments via PayPal the commissions vary from 2% to 7% depending on the status of the PayPal account. Always charged to the customer.

Right of withdrawal

Purchases made on the site www.ciclitartaggia.it are protected by Italian law (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005) on sales to distance.

If you have made a mistake in your order or you have received an item you did not want, or you are not satisfied with the purchase made, you have 14 working days from the delivery date to exercise the right of withdrawal, or the possibility of return the product and be reimbursed for the cost excluding shipping costs for the return that will be at your expense.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must send, within 14 days of receipt of the goods, a communication by registered mail, in the which is expressed the will to withdraw from the contract.

The right of withdrawal is totally lost if the returned product is not intact, that is: lack of the original packaging, absence of integral elements of the product (accessories, screws, instruction manuals, etc.), damage to the product due to causes other than transport.

Procedure for exercising the right of withdrawal

If the returned product has not been insured for the value indicated on the invoice, in the event of damage or loss occurring during transport, Cicli Tartaggia reserves the right to charge for any damage suffered by withholding them from the sums to be reimbursed.

Guarantees  (lack of conformity)

Pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 24 of 02-02-2002, Cicli Tartaggia is liable to the consumer for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the goods.

The lack of conformity can be found for:

– malfunction;
– internal transport damage not found upon receipt;
– incorrect shipment.

The lack of conformity must be reported within 24 months following the date of purchase; the time limit within which the product defect must be communicated from the moment it occurred is 2 months.

The guarantee will apply to products that present lack of conformity and / or malfunctions not detectable at the time of purchase, provided that the product itself is used correctly and with due diligence, i.e. in compliance with its destination and as provided in any technical documentation. , in compliance with the various operating rules indicated therein.

This guarantee will not be applicable in case of negligence, carelessness in the use and maintenance of the product, of any mechanical adaptations and / or adjustments not prescribed by the manufacturer, etc.

In case of lack of conformity, the consumer has the right to restore the conformity of the goods by repair or replacement.

The guarantee is personal and will therefore apply only to the original purchaser, being reserved for direct customers and not for merchants and resellers.


To provide an excellent service, all shipments are made by express courier. In case of non-collection, any storage costs are charged to the customer. Shipments of goods to customers residing outside the European Community (non-EU) are to be understood net of VAT and customs duties. Local VAT and any customs duties will be charged to the recipient and will be requested by the shipper during the delivery of the goods.


Once you have received the package, please check that the number of packages delivered by the courier corresponds to that indicated by the courier and that the package is intact. If you notice the packaging, please accept the package ‘WITH RESERVE’ by reporting it to the courier and our customer service. If the package is not accepted with reserve it will be impossible for us to forward the complaint to the shipping service for a check and possible refund / replacement of the damaged or missing product due to theft.
