Italian champion Filippo Ganna speeds through the first stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico.

He triumphs with a time of 12:15 and an average speed of 56 km/h.

Second place went to Juan Ayuso (UAE) with a gap of 23 seconds from Ganna.
